The basic terms for using Norte V1.

These Terms of Use are between you and the provider of Norte.
Norte is an independent, small-scale project designed as a calm self-help support kit for autistic and neurodivergent overload.

By downloading, installing, opening, or using Norte, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Norte is a small and evolving project provided in good faith. We aim for the app to be useful, calm, and honest, but it may change over time.
Norte V1 is intended for people aged 16 and over.
If you are under 16, do not use Norte.
Norte V1 works without account creation.
The app does not currently provide user accounts, cloud profiles, saved histories, or account deletion flows.
Some small preferences and timestamps may be stored locally on your device so the app can work properly. See the Privacy Policy for details.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Norte for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app except where the law allows you to do so.
Norte, including its design, text, interface, structure, branding, and original content, is protected by intellectual property rights.
You may use the app as permitted by these Terms, but you do not acquire ownership of Norte or its content.
You agree not to misuse Norte.
Overload Translator uses a third-party AI service to help turn what you write into clearer words.
When you use the Translator, the text you enter is sent to a Norte-controlled production backend and forwarded to a third-party AI service.
Norte does not store your Translator input or output in its own database.
Norte itself does not train an AI model on your Translator input or output.
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, unhelpful, inappropriate, or upsetting.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use any AI-generated wording.
Do not submit information that you would not feel comfortable sending to an AI service.
Some guide links in Norte open outside the app on Payhip.
Purchases, payments, downloads, refunds, and customer support for those guides happen on Payhip.
The Norte mobile app does not process payments and does not provide in-app purchases in V1.
Payhip and its payment partners may apply their own terms, policies, refund rules, and support processes.
The Norte storefront owner or guide author may receive seller-side information through Payhip, such as purchase and support information, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you buy a guide through Payhip, you are responsible for reviewing the relevant Payhip checkout information, terms, and policies.
Norte is not medical care, therapy, counselling, coaching, legal advice, financial advice, employment advice, workplace advice, or emergency support.
Norte does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure autism, autistic burnout, anxiety, meltdown, shutdown, overload, or any medical or mental health condition.
Norte is not designed for active crisis or urgent danger.
If you feel unsafe, in urgent danger, or may hurt yourself or someone else, stop using Norte and contact emergency services in your country or region immediately.
Norte is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not promise that Norte will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for your particular situation.
We do not promise specific outcomes from using Norte.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
To the fullest extent permitted by mandatory law, Norte and its provider are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the app.
Norte V1 is currently provided as a small-scale self-help app. To the fullest extent permitted by mandatory law, any aggregate liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by mandatory law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or non-waivable consumer rights.
We may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue parts of Norte as the project evolves.
Some features may be experimental, limited, or replaced in later versions.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date.
Continued use of Norte after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You can stop using Norte at any time by deleting the app.
You may choose Clear local data in Settings before uninstalling if you want to remove V1 local preferences and timestamps from the app.
We may suspend or discontinue the app or parts of it if needed.
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Portugal, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections and rights that apply in your country or region.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory right to bring proceedings or complaints where applicable consumer law gives you that right.
